You can't set your hat down just anywhere.

I'm so ecstatic! I went shopping with my mom (we hit the L.L. Bean store, which surprisingly had a bunch of cute AND comfy clothes, and Lord and Taylor). Shopping is great and always makes me happy. However, the reason I'm SO happy is because I found not 1 but 2 hats that actually fit my head. I have been searching for a cute hat for YEARS , since my hair is so thick and poofy and nothing seemed to fit me. When I found two hats that fit that were cute I had to get them both. That, ladies and gentlemen is because Lord and Taylor was having their big summer sale. I haven't paid full price for anything, at least not without a gift card, in a long time.

What I wore:
Fedora- John Callanan Legacy (Lord and Taylor)
Striped Shirt- GAP (old)
Cargo Pants- Aero (old)
Purse- Diesel (Urban Outfitters)
Coral Ring- Vintage
Smoky Quartz Ring- David Yurman
Pinky Ring- Vintage

When You Were Young

Today is too dreary to do a photo shoot, so I thought I'd do a blast from the past (December 2009 to be exact) instead. I can't believe these are from my freshman year at college!

What I wore:
Dress- Modcloth
Leggings- GAP
Black Bow Headband- DIY

I know this love of mine, will never die....

For some reason, I have the song, "And I Love Her" by the Beatles stuck in my head. I can't say that this is an "And I Love Her" inspired outfit. What I can say is that I needed an excuse to name this Polyvore outfit after a Beatles song I never knew I liked so much.

Her name was Magil and she called herself Lil, but everyone knew her as Nancy.

This outfit looks like it would be great for a balmy summer day (minus the cardigan). Usually I drag a my favorite cardigan around with me anyway (a gray Mr. Rogers cardigan from Alternative Apparel) regardless of the temperature. That way my outfit can go from day to night (or outside to A/C) easily.

I really like the AE cardigan (shown in the picture above). It has a nautical feel and navy blue goes with everything. However, nothing beats my favorite cardigan. You can still buy my favorite cardigan here.

It's gonna be a bright (bright) sunshining day.

I rediscovered my old tire swing today and thought it would be a great place for a photo shoot. I could definitely tell that I hadn't used the swing in a while because the swing was a bit tricky to get out of. All's well that ends well though!

What I wore:
Head wrap- Old Navy (old)
Orange and blue dress- BB Dakota (via: Modcloth)
Sunnies- J Lo. by Jennifer Lopez
Earrings- Somewhere in the Outer Banks?
Floral embroidered gladiator sandals- Aldo

I got a little change in my pocket going jingle lingle ling.

This is my 4th of July outfit. Maybe I'm a (slightly) bad American for not wearing red, white, and blue, but I loved this outfit (namely the vintage dress) so much that I just had to wear it. I have a feeling that dress is going to be one of my new favorite pieces.

What I wore:
Lace Dress- Vintage
Bandanna- Old
Blue Tank- Charlotte Russe
Jean Shorts- GAP

L.A. told me,"you'll be a pop star."

Hello summer! Here's a new outfit idea to go with the lovely weather. My favorite part of this outfit is the shoes. I love these oxfords! Usually, I am not the biggest fan of things that are white, but this shoes may help to convert me.

Check me out now (check me out baby)
