So far so good as far as the Christmas presents, cookies and food goes. Personally, I be happy just spending time with my family, but Christmas cookies (and presents) don't hurt. Happy Holidays everyone!

So far I'm having a great holiday season. My room is clean, the house is dusted, I've visited with friends and made (and eaten) raspberry streusel bars. I'm not a fan of store made pie crusts and doughs, so I made everything from scratch. 3 hours (and several sticks of butter) later, I had my favorite snack. YUM! I hope you are enjoying the holidays as well. Until next time (maybe next year...)

Here are some leftover pictures from the other day, featuring... drumroll please.... my new faux fur scarf from Madewell. I ordered the brown color, brunette I think, but somehow ended up with gray. I was going to return it, but I got attached to the gray color and the scarf's glorious fuzziness, so I kept it. *No animals were harmed in the making of this blog post.*

Hello again! It's been a while. I'd like to take this posting opportunity to introduce you to a little dilemma I've been having.... LACK OF FORMALS. My college (and probably college in general), just does not give me enough opportunities to dress up. I'll take any excuse to play with my makeup, create a new updo, and put on a party dress, like this lovely little number from Allen Company Inc. If only I had somewhere to wear it!

I never really liked Amy Winehouse, until now. They say there's an exception to every rule, well the song "Valerie" is that exception. I've always had a thing for Doo Wop. Oh, and this is what happens to my hair when I don't feel like doing schoolwork.
