I've definitely got the blues, so I figured I would do a blue-sy related post. What I wouldn't give for all of these things in my closet, except the heels, since I would have no clue how to walk in them.

This has seriously been the week from hell. Everything in my life that could produce stress has. I am going to do a lot of sleeping this weekend (because I haven't gotten much sleep all week) and stuff my stomach full of Ben and Jerry's. Chocolate chip cookie dough bliss, here I come! Huzzah!

PS. I may be attending a stoplight party tomorrow. If you're single you wear green, if you're relationship is complicated you wear yellow, and if you're in a relationship you wear red. Now I just need to find something cute and green. Hmmmm....

Dear readers,
You may be wondering why I have posted the same picture in two back to back posts. This is because my roommate Zoë has insisted that I pay tribute to her in a blog post. If you look below the telltale orange arrow you will see my roommate in all her glory, well maybe not all of it since she's asleep. Anyway, Zoë has also insisted that I tell that she's awesome, which, granted, she is. I woke up to her laughing hysterically at the blunders of Auto Correct, on the aptly named website, "F You Auto Correct!"

Dear Readers,

It's back to the (winter) grind, which = blowing snow and general blustery weather. Winter can be beautiful, just not when it's stabbing you in the eyes with bitty pieces of snow, but I digress. Winter gets a bad rap, especially from yours truly. Winter should be lauded, simply because winter gives you the excuse to wear cute leg warmers, chunky knit sweaters, hats with pom poms, fuzzy scarves, AND best of all, winter gives you the excuse to curl up in front of a fire and drink hot cocoa (with whipped cream of  course) with friends and have fireside chats.

Dear readers,
I'm back to the daily grind that is college. I had one class today, Shakespeare on the Edge. It looks like a REALLY great class and unbeknownst to me one of my best friends is in it. WHOO! Plus, this class typically meets on Monday and Wednesday, which means I have no classes on Friday. Yipee! 

On to the clothing. This skirt and GAP sweater were acquired during a super sale at the mall. I've come to resent mall shopping because so many pieces of clothing look the same, AAAAND I hate when stores forget to take the security tags off clothing.

 I am becoming more and more of a vintage junkie everyday. I love that when you buy a vintage item that item has a backstory and will most likely be unique. I did find a duplicate of my vintage Lilly Pullitzer strawberry sundress, but finding doubles of a vintage item is a lot more rare than finding doubles of a mall item. My gripes with malls aside, I found some great pieces at awesome prices last shopping trip. Maybe I should give the mall a *little* more credit.
